It doesn't matter much anymore........besides, the ones who think people are "whiners" will never listen to us. They are fixed. They have to get even and be "right"

ni said "paid update" from the beginning........the grace period started over a month ago..........

Now, the supposed first of those updates is next week (rotflmao) if for any reason it happens, that's great. Of course that's one out of many.

the thing that chaps my hyde is people saying "it was an estimate" OK, I will estimate that there will be world peace in about 2 months. Check back with me at that time, but remember, it's an "estimate"..........

First off, I have no problem admitting when I'm wrong, it's not the end of my world.
Your analogy makes no sense. You have every right to be frustrated that NI haven't been able to get the updates out yet. I am too, and yeah I think sometimes it's lame that it's took so long, and wonder if it isn't due to NI not caring etc. What I think you fail to see is NI never lied to you about anything!
This is business, it's not personal. Logic flow is important here.
Be mad that NI software has a bug that makes your work difficult, or that the AU version is flawed, or that they made Kore a dongle, or any number of other possible real world problems, but when you say that NI 'promised' an update that clearly sez, "*subject to chance", you're stretching the truth.
THAT is why I called you a whiner.

It wont be a surprise to see more UB updates officially shown or released in January at the 07 NAMM show. If the results of the NAMM show are not positive then we can really can complain about APPLES MACINTEL UB decision.
Vote for Pedro.

In the sense that I paid for Komplete Care 06, with the reasoning that it would be cheaper to update Komplete to UB that way, I do not have the product I paid for, it explains the $180 coupon for the NI shop though!

that doesn't make sense..........

a. I don't have to pay, but who cares......doesn't matter.

b. I don't want anyone to have to pay after all the bs NI has caused......and unlike a certian group of "pussies" I won't give up.......customers are more important......not NI........!

I'll say it for " " ........BOLLOX! We've had 3 more "promises" since this shit and still no UB's........

and no, I don't have to pay

and no, I don't believe today will be the day even though the forums specifically say it will be. I hope I'm wrong, but the proof is in the pudding......seeing is believing.....walk is better than talk......

well, at the 2006 jan/namm show, roughly 10 months ago, NI was the very first company to state they would FULLY support UB'S.......hasn't happened yet.

And this is mostly about the "a few days" which was turned into (by NI ) a weekly soap-opera and then last week the "official" word was this week, which turned into tuesday, which got a "sorry, hang in there one more day" ......which is today.

I'll say again, even though It won't do any good. I hope they follow through this time. But I doubt it.

Well, if you've been following the NI forums it looks like all of them almost are close, Guitar Rig and Kontact have both had posts stating the builds are nearly done, just a bug or two left. Hey I know it's not much, but I'm impatient too. I rely enough on them that I haven't really used my macbook at all for music yet. :?

Thing is, they've cried wolf before... By now an "Almost there" doesn't mean jack coming from them. Making promises and then not keeping them is horrible horrible business.
