If you want back issues, then you can subscribe for a one year plan where you will have access to the entire catalog.

I hope that clears it up. :D
Well, for instance I have no use for the Dj tools vol.1 because I have Stylus RMX, and I dont have use for the Vintage 80s Clasics, because I have a few hardware and software synths that does all the 80s I could ever need. So I might not be your typical customer. But im still interested in the consept!

I am on the lookout for a few versatile one shot samples for rythm, rather then some giga library that got a gazillion almost identicle clasic drum set toms...
So the electrodrum could perhaps trigger my interest.

Can we get some user rewievs?

How compex are the racks, whats the samles quality without effects, what is done with effects in the racks, etc.

I subscribed and downloaded the packs but am waiting for my new audio interface to arrive. :x

And i allready sold my old one...hehe.....

But i will comment when i have audio again. To me having a drummachine or synth in hardware isn't automaticaly an argument not to be interested in these packs. They could make you work in a totally different way creating totally different results.

I see your point there. I only ment that I might not need much of their library, but still would like to choose what to buy at a given time. So for me it is not interesting to get the full year deal, and ill have to wait till something I like turns up at the monthly offer. Well, thats ok.

Looking forward to the review! :P

Our philosophy with the subscription plan is that we can continually provide very high quality products for a 10th of the cost that you would get elsewhere - it works for us the developers, and for the customers as well. We think it is an ideal model for soundware.

We do not currently have "demos" on the site because of the huge amount of content you can download for a low subscription. This month alone, over 700MB of content is available! 8O We have some reviews pending in future publications, but we are not sure how soon they will be out. In the meantime, please see the Puremagnetik forum and there is some recent user feedback there. Like I said, you will not be disappointed!

Best,

Micah

HMMMM.... it's quite possible!

Yes, we will have more kits. We're thinking of continuing the series once we get our mits on more ingredients to build the ROM waveforms with.

There's a little update for Elektrodrum for those that have already downloaded it. A few fixes:

Sampler Kits:
-Closed hat now gates open hat
-Toms are in correct GM conventional order (relative to each other)

Impulse Kits:
- Standardized to Live mapping -ableton library clips now play back accurately

(note! mapping has changed, so back up your old songs before replacing with this update)

Enjoy! :D

<---- and look! I hit the 100 posts mark (pat myself on the back)

Yes, the current download is the updated version. If you reimport the pack into your ableton/puremagnetik library it will only copy the kits. It won't replace the old ones. You have to delete the current elektrodrum folders for a clean install of this update .

I would suggest downloading the update for future compatibility with our products.

i'd kinda like to hear an mp3 sample of what the pack can do. i know it's cheap to begin with, but i like to hear what can be done before diving in, ya know?
