Do you have a brand on your BLACKLIST?

i was buying Universal, because they've plain silver finish. now i woke up and realized they're shiite.

maybe i'll try Maxell, i always liked their cassette tapes.

do you have a good silver-finished brand?

to keep the list short, for anything important / valuable audio:

tayo yuden or Verbatim super AZO --- ONLY! --- burned with a plextor 716.

any other brand / make i only touch for CDs which can fuck up and i don't have to care about. [same applies for any other burner]

Don't know if there are different levels of TYs, but the ones my shop used to buy are a flaky mess now. I only trust Verbatim.

TDK for life.
Memorex if TDK is sold out.

I've had bad experiences with most other brands, inluding a batch of Sonys that peeled apart. That fucking sucked.
