Ableton @ Summer NAMM - Nashville

If anyone here is going to be attending Summer NAMM this weekend (July 19-21), I will be representing the more experimental side of techno at the M-Audio Control Room Stage using only Ableton Live. You can check it out at the following times:

7/19 Fri - 4.30p
7/20 sat - 10.30a & 4.30p
7/21 sun - 10.30a

No streams, that I know of. I will be recording the sets in Live, and plan on posting them in some form at http://www.discrec.com for downloading fun.

And yes, we have plenty of fauxPubs around here... <grin>

You're located in Nashville? Interesting place - I went to summer NAMM 2-3 years ago. The pick up trucks with the pearlized paint jobs, gun racks and hip hop blasting through busted speakers was damn amusing!

Yes, you've definately been to NashVegas! We were setting up for the booth and a yokel came by and asked if we were selling turntables. Worst part is, when he was told what was actually happening, he said he might just come back tomorrow. <grin>

It looks like it's going to be quite cool though!

Ozone: Vaporware?

I don't know about the Ozone yet, but I was feeling like the Surface One was vapourware until I got to fiddle with one yesterday. yeah, sure - even they don't have a release date for the thing yet (apparently, soft/firmware is still being worked on) but let me tell you: this thing is the ultimate controller for Live. I only wish I had one to use during my sets.
