I have a arpy thing going in Crystal and when I use the ASIO drivers for my Indigo it arps along with the song tempo nicely.
For kicks, I tried to use my laptop internal with MME drivers and whamo, the synth was all out of time.
What's going on here?
VST sync: MME/built in sound vs. ASIO external
