"D" flashing a lot

I've noticed that the "D" in the right upper of the screen flashes very often.
I didn't notice this in live 5.
I'm using a macpro 2gb ram and with 2 sata2 disks,
there are no dropouts but it flashes for 1 second also with only a few sample playing.
Is this normal?

defrag your hard drive and try again...

Move your samples in to internal harddrive and try again.You are using external drives right?USB or FIREWIRE?
