crossfader assignments in 6

Post by bland_handl » Wed Nov 08, 2006 1:44 pm

hey, might just be me being stupid but....

i can't seem to assign one fader controller to sweep the whole crossfader range

can easily assign right, left or middle, but not all

again, probably my stupidity, but any pointers would be appreciated!

Hi,

If you assign the 'middle' of the crossfader, it should work fine. Make sure the mode is set to 'absolute' and not 'relative', while in assign mode. you can see that in the info bar.

Kind regards,

Thanks Amaury

Still doesn't seem to be working.

The crossfader only moves slightly (usually not even the full range of the "centre" area) - and that's if it moves at all... mostly it'll be waiting for the CC value to "pick up" the current position, which it seldom does.

Any ideas?

PS - mostly wanting to use this with the faderfox, but have tried it with other controllers as well.
