Cocktail Drum Kit samples - get em!

Post by decrepitude » Wed Nov 08, 2006 10:03 pm

After all the great info I harvest here, I thought I'd give a little back...

New royality-free sample content on my website:

Cocktail Drum Kit performed by 9Stein.

One night Pat (9Stein) and I decided to casually hang one nice overhead condenser over his nifty new cocktail drum set. We were pleasantly suprised by the results. These are 24bit wavs with no extra processing other than normalization. More details about these samples at the website.

Anyway, my hope is some of you peeps will find them useful...

Get em' here: http://www.organicodemusic.com/downloads.htm

First of all cocktail kits rock, I want an electronic version :-)

Second the loops sound great, not what i use but someone who's into old skool funky loops, these are seriously vintage sounding.

well done!

Thanks very much! I'm looking forward to cutting these up and playing with the sounds. I appreciate your generosity.

In a similar vein, I have a free collection of samples that my music partner & I put together from the Korg ER-1 drum machine:

Thanks again,

Oh, and don't forget - We'd *love* to hear what you're creating with these samples. We'll likely put a link up on our website to your songs.

These feel like a cleaner version of Planet of the Breakz series. Very nice indeed. Looking forward to adding a little Saturator and some porn bass on top. :)

I was thinking about getting cocktail drums, but decided on a traditional kick & snare.

Nice, clean recordings - great job!!

Thanks,
