Pelosi said a few weeks ago that they wouldn't pursue impeachment.

s'okay, because if the prevailing groundswell is that he should be impeached, then she can reverse that.

Americans will, at this point, not elect an intellectual, a "weak" candidate, a woman, a non-"white" person, or anyone perceived as too "radical".

This is rather wise to say one month ago -- now that the elections are over we can most certainly expect hearings. Once the hearings are concluded, if evidence supports pushing forth with impeachment, I would expect it to happen.

Don't forget though, there's only 2 years to get all of this done.

if we are talking successful impeachments I would say Nixon was the last successfull one. what good did it do? i would say lots. It got him out of office and got him and and his party the shame they deserved.

to not impeach is to say, ok mr. bush, we accept your dark ways and grant you a pass to proceed. and any one who may follow in your footsteps will be granted that same pass because we are scared little pussies.

i agree, that was very wierd, and just recently during the elections he said all that shit about the troops which put the democrats under fire. i think kerry's and bushes skull and bones link hasd a lot to do with that last staged presidency, kerry acted so stupid it wass just that, acting.

nixon was not impeached. He resigned. And I'm glad for it.....he pretty much sucked.

Now, I thought everyone knew this.

Bill Clinton was successfully impeached. Look it up As for the what good did it do......nothing. It put a zero tarnish on his "flawless" service.

So, to even try and impeach bush would be a waste of time. Even if it succeeded, it wouldn't matter.

i'm on this side instead of one or the other party......how bout it doesn't matter. The only winners are the politicians. They all have the same agenda, money and power......er, or maybe just ego.

It's not going to change anything.
