Adjusting Levels (values automatically reset)

Post by ajstrax » Thu Nov 09, 2006 2:54 pm

I work on a track, finish it, then I render to wav and listen to it in a home stereo system (to make sure it sounds okay). My problem is this: when I go back into Live to adjust the levels (e.g., volume, pan, etc.), I always find that the values automatically change when I click certain areas.

Can somebody let me know what to click (or not) so that I can adjust my levels with Live back-tracking or moving the levels back? I think it has something to do with the (back to arrangement red button) or the overdub button?

PS: "read the manual" not welcomed (in office) :D

Thanks.

Check and see if you have acidentally assigned automation to the track. if so you need to clear the envelope for that track.
