I make alot of music in my bedroom but I'm not a DJ.... My friend and I are going to try some things with live.. mainly he'll be DJing while I grab samples from what he's playing and improvise over top.
I have a Powerbook G4 550 that works great with Live 3 for what I do, and an imic, as well as an Ozone. Can someone suggest a good signal path that would allow to grab samples from whichever deck he is spinning from and fade the laptop in when i've got something I like?
