That sounds pretty reasonable - I spoke to Apple about getting a replacement XSKey for Logic and they wanted 65 UKP for it (around $100). Rip off merchants... :-(

Better than Steinberg, a replacement dongle will cost you the FULL price of the software.

I agree, which is why I'm using Live for everything now.

I got a reply from cycling 74, if you've got XP & OSX on the same machine you need an authorisation for each OS, but its no problem.

Also, they allow the program to be installed on multiple machines, so long as you're only running one at a time...same as ableton. They also seem as flexible as ableton on the Auth issue...

soo...I'm not gonna go for the iLok option after all, seems pace is stable & the source code of the program isnt tampered with....

I got a refund for my Kore unit today !

Thats an Update that makes me smile.

BTW.

I think the "hatred" is of the behaviour. Not the actual Instruments.

When somebody is acting badly I feel It Is necessary to make that clear to them.

and I always have dug Reaktor.

You're way too serious about this shit. Besides, the tease is about that single lofty post claiming to know the future etc.
glad you sold Kore, worst thing that company puts out IMO.

Besides read the short thread at BBL, and tell me again how I should suck the suck. Image

True, NI are a large corporate beast, but like Apple, they make products I like, even if I don't like their marketing methods. I'm Michael on the BBL BTW, not every post I give is NI praise, but you guys wouldn't notice I guess?

Great to hear, I'm looking forward to Guitar Rig when it actually arrives..... Yeah definitely peace all around, and unfortunately right now I'm on the end of NI's shitstick! No Komplete 4 yet, though I could go into Guitar Center and buy it right now.

Komplete Care was supposed to get me updates before they hit the stores etc. The wording was vague, but no disclaimer at the bottom. Something like "As a KC customer you will receive priority treatment on upgrades etc."
Pre purchased vaporware is an odd concept to begin with. Anyway, though it will pay off for me, it's a bad business move really.

I'm a Komplete Care owner. I just got an email from NI acknowledging the problems they've been having this year getting updates out to us, so now they are throwing in Massive! With that, the tutorials, the $150 credit at the shop, and the eventual updates. I'm feeling much better about that program.
