I use the MOTU traveller, it's rock solid and has been 100% dependable since day 1.

traveler is a very very good choice ( I have it ) I'd just say that for whatever reasons, 1.4.2 drivers are not so good.......get 1.4.1.......
Outside of that little quible......."veddey nice"..........

I'm using a M-Audio Firewire Audiophile at the moment on my Mac and it's working sweetly. I've had no problems with it and it's very easy to hook up to Live.

Beware with the new MacbookPro Core2Duo, many FW interfaces can't be bus-powered. Presonus Firebox and TC Electronic Konnekt in particular are not working. MOTU Traveler is fine and UltraLite should be ok too.

Any idea why this is?
I was looking at the Echo Audiofire 2... drats. I hope it works.
15" PB 2.5 Ghz, 4 Gig RAM, 750 GB HD, Live 9 still no cue points or program change messages?!?. Doesn't do shit.

I'm pretty sure it's only the 17" that have this problem too, not the 15".

The CoreDuo 17" AND the Core2Duo 15". I know, I tried it. There's a big post about that in the Apple Discussions MacBookPro forum.

Could you post a link to this? I'd love to read up on it.
