Screen refresh problems with Live on XP

Has anyone had a problem with Live opening up with a window that is completely transparent (the desktop shows through)? When I move this window, it forces it to refresh, but in a very distorted way.

I'm using the following:

Win XP Professional
AMD 2100+ XP
512 MEG DDR ram
MSI Nvidia GeForce 4 MX 440 VTP
RME Hammerfall DSP MultiFace
ATI Firewire card

Any ideas?
