L6 - Cant Render or Freeze when using any Korg Legacy Plugin

Live wont let me render or freeze any track (including the audio ones) when I have the M1 Korg VST plugin active in one of my channels. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

If I recreate the compossion without the Korg pluging and just using audio samples its fine but as soon as I add the plugin it will not allow me to render and I receive the usual message (A Serious Error has occured Live will now shut down).

HELP this is driving my nuts and may push me towards using Cubase !

I have made surethat the plugin and Ableton are both using the same sample rate but still cant render.

I've got it, not problems here.
What platform and machine are you using?

Just for reference, I'm on a 1.67 PB 2g ram OsX Tiger something or other.

I 2nd that. I got them as well with no proble.

im on PC 3.74GHZ Extreme 2 gig ram

have you tried uninstalling then reinstalling the vst's?

yeah tried re-install the whole legacy pack.

The problem is occuring on both my laptop and desktop machines!

Hi Peter .... you haven't mentioned anything about version numbers.

Live version (6.01) ?
KLC-DE version ?

Have you downloaded and installed the latest version of KLC-DE ?
(the stuff on manufactured installation disks is almost always grossly out of date). Head to www.korguser.net, fill out your login details (email address and password), click the Downloads for registered users link. Yes - it is a massive download. Rather than being an updater it is a complete replacement installer (uninstall your old KLC-DE version first before applying it).

Last of all - this could simply be a Syncrosoft License Control Centre issue. Some versions of it have problems. The latest version of it (version 5.2.1) is fit for use I've found and can be downloaded from www.syncrosoft.com/downloads .

im using the KLC in live. KLC version 1.0.0. although it's on version 1.1.9 now i think. Live version 6.0.1.

I don't recall having any problems, though I use it more as a synth on another computer that I have midi'd up to my laptop. I'm pretty sure i've created sets with the KLC loaded in.

I use KLC synths (KLC1 +KLC-DE) daily hosted within Live, extensively and haven't encountered the issue described.

The updated versions on www.korguser.net are quite essential.

Why don't you apply them?

Bugs are fixed, performance improved, more features too (resonant filters!).
