Actually, the morning that Coxy played Boston I had to drive up to the Canadian border to update my visa (long story). When I was in there talking to the official, in walks Coxy and his entourage (and wife) behind me.. I was going to go over and say hi but realized that I might have jeopordized his chances of entering the US, not sure what visa he was coming in on... so I left it.

Imagine if one comment I'd made ("hey Carl, looking forward to seeing you play tonight") had stopped him entering the US and stopped him playing the gig I was going to see him at that night.

So I sped home and saw him that night anyway ;)
Awright Bawjaws, that smells lovely son, gies a wee taste!

I hate to fanboy any controller 'cause there's tons of options and ways of working but the bcr has 16 more controls on it.

SIXTEEN.

but get what makes you happy.

Nevermind the haters, there are children here who act out any chance we get.
Well, if Seattle ever ever ever carried the BCR or BCF I'd swoop

I'm a fader kind of guy - but really which ever one shows up first in Seattle I'm gonna get it

A basic Oxygen 8 and a BCR or F - yeah baby

I'm serious though - in the last couple days I've really gotten into playing tracks with LIVE - fun times

not to mention the aweful coffee ;)

Syke - nah, everytime I go to buy something via the web I end up at Platinum Records across the street and spend all that money and have to wait...until I do it all over again every 2 weeks

but...I might end up going through musiciansfriend.com or zzounds.com if I get desperate

speaking of the web

I've been looking all over beatport and juno for the Trentemoller remix of MOBY'S "GO"

I had to buy it on vinyl :(

I'm also looking for this BITS record # 6 via download - if I don't find it soon I'm gonn ahave to buy the vinyl

anywayz

peace

The girl situation in the Emerald Shitty is hurting so bad, unless a cow in polar fleece turns you on. When I lived there I could remember actually being shocked to see a good looking girl on the street. Seriously though, they do have UPS at least.

Seattle is pretty ridiculous if you are trying to stay current with your gear. If I had a nickle for everytime I've said, 'That's great but I can order it for me as well. Thanks for nothing.'

For mail order gear: http://www.americanmusical.com
Playing before you pay is nice.

The only good thing about the girl situation in Seattle is its easy to take the train to Vancouver BC where the most beautiful, well-adjusted girls on the planet live.
