Yes, but its a cowboy operation that has taken a lot of money from people promising to ship weeks ago & still hasnt sent anything out or wont respond to e-mails. My advice - avoid.

sounds like ultra my ass. I hate it when people get you all hyped on a product that isn't ready for market "quite" yet, but they'll gladly take your money for a sale that they promise will happen by a certain date and it doesn't. I'm pissed at behringer for taking so long, but at least they (and their dealers) have been forthcoming about the release date being pushed back, and though you could pre-order, no one was charging you money until it shipped. That is why grexultra is bs--take pre-orders, thats fine, but don't take my money unless you've got something to give me. Floating their fledgling company on peoples hard-earned bread is bs.

Yep, i had to get my creditcard company onto them as they didn't even have the courtesy to reply to e-mails enquiring about the status of an item i had paid for 9 weeks earlier and which was promised as being released 7 weeks previous.

And their website is full of mistakes & dead links.

Makes you understand why the Notron went down the tubes.

Actually Smutek I saw mention once of a converter for PC that would let you use a DDR pad as a MIDI controller. But I can't seem to track the elusive software down. It would be a damn fun controller though. Hell just for tap tempo and such it would be a real blast.

I'm actually goin' through a midicontroller 'issue' at the moment... don't really know what I could use for my dj set with Live.
You think using a behringer rotary or uc-33 WITH the mixman dm2 is possible? Would that work? would I be able to 'scratch' using live and my laptop? I'm quite a noob on this aspect, so I would like to get some info...

yes, you can use up to two midi in ports in live (can be straight usb like DM2, and/or your soundcards midi in port). By chaining midi devices, you can use many controllers. Live doesn't really have a means of scrathing at the moment. There are some vsteffects for free that can "kind of" scratch (KT granulator, scrubby), but they ain't even close to the real thing. I use FL Studio rewired to Live, and the FL Scratcher is actually pretty dope. I record little bits of vocals into a mic, then load the clip into the scratcher, and rock it with my DM2--takes a bit of time to do it all, but I can be scratchin within 20-30 sec of recording the clip.

So I could possibly do some 'turntablism' with the dm (with the bundle software, maybe?), while my dj set session in Live is playing?

The new Bitstream 3X from Wave Idea is definetly the best controller, from my opinion !

I have been using the Evolution X-Session with Live 3.04. I am very happy with it. For me, the X-Session just really seems to lend itself to Live.

Yep, got mine on Friday. It's great. And really easy to program with the free Enigma software.
