Ok so I have one of these in my studio now and it is working very well. Great latency on first impression it sounds very good and was painless to set up. So my question is this, has anyone managed to use the fx in this thing with out patching it through itself from front to back? It seems to me that it totaly fails to show up in live as a send option in the "audio patch bay" in live. And the cubase walk through in the manual speaks of features that live seems to know nothing of. I am totaly burnt and half asleep so I hope that I am just overlooking something.

Any tips would be great.

ok got it

In live send to External 5/6 for fabrik
and 7/8 for Reverb

Then just make audio tracks to act as returns.

hello,

this is #1 on my purchase list for firewire IO for my soon to arrive macbook. biq question: is there a way to route the ableton final mix to the fabrik channels? before i was using my tc tripple C 3band stereo compressor to do a cheap finalize on the master audio. it would be really cool to replace it with the fabrik C channels strips, as they both also contain 3band compressors.

possible? please let me know. thanks!

after thinking for 3 more seconds, i'm guessing you can just use the fabrik channels as the main out? duh. but, can the headphone jack monitor only the stereo out from fabrik? or would i have to due some some routing in live where the fabrik return just gets sent directly to the konnekt's main outs?

possible? can you confirm? finger's on the purchase trigger! cheers!

hey rpsx you can create a send and return by creating two audio tracks and sending whatever you want to the Konnekt and then out the master. Works fine.

The thing is that it seems that I have started getting the same problems that people are talking about here

I have had two hard crashes and audio dropouts. VERY frustrating. I am going to keep at it for a little bit but I will not fight that hard for it as there are plenty of other audio interfaces out there that will do the job.
