ok just got live 6, but its not mp3 he sent me an mp3 of his version of the track, then sent the parts in audio for me to do my version but all parts are out of time not tight when dropped into live ??

same bpm etc maybe its the warp setting ??
i have them all on complex, seems strange if he has the track as is mp3,
then exports all audio parts why cant they fit together correctly,
after adjusting the start point on all parts so they come in together ?

Then he needs to tell you the bpm of the track, and don't forget the files that he send you must have all of them the same length.

I've transferred files back and forth from ProTools and Live. I set the master tempo, and inserted 4 clicks on all the tracks, one measure before the song begins. Then, it's just a matter of lining up the clicks unless your tracks are cut properly.

Well I can't really do that much to help you directly, since I haven't seen or heard what is going on in your track.
Are your tracks constantly off by the same amount, or is it constantly slipping back and forth, in and out of phase?

Are the audio-parts auto-warping? If so, then turn it off.
