Live electro set at a fetish theme party (mp3 inside)

Yehar.

Last weekend I had the oppertunity to play a set for The Fetish Ball, a large event held over three nightclubs in New Zealand.

The set went to plan....The only thing I was a bit unhappy about was the transitions between tunes (as most people assumed I was a dj anyway I imagine...)

I had to set up in a small both on top of the tops of a couple of 1200's, so I didn't have room to set up all my gear which was a pain... I couldn't get it as live as I would have liked but still... it went well.

I ended up going dressed in overals, welding goggles, and welding bars through my hair so all my dreads kinda stood up on end. Looked very manic.

Within 5 minutes of getting into the club I was so fucking hot that I just took the tops of the overals and tied around my waist and put electrical tape on my nipples.

It was a very loose party... some interesting live performances. Lot of stuff I'm not into.. extreme pain and toture things with surgical needles etc.. but there were some laughs. They had a curtained off dark area with couches which had an infared cam in it, and the cam was linked up to a big plasma TV in another bar so you could sit down and have a drink and watch people get up to all kinds of mistcheif.

Id say there was well over a thousand people there of ALL types. I played my set to Homosexuals, Lesbians, Trannys, Schoolgirls, French Maids (who kept coming up and giving me food and kisses while I played), subs, doms... and everything in between. A very social crowd indeed!

Unfortunately there was a VERY strcit camera ban.. and after seeing the kind of antics that went on I can see why! the media would have a feild day.

The set is my first electro/breaks set without any trancey stuff so it was quite a big deal for me. I will definantly be doing more of this kind of stuff in the future.

izniezot - I love the padkontrol man. Never had an issue with it. I use it in heaps of different ways for each tune.. I think I am going to buy another 3

apparently I uploaded a corrupt file somehow so if you downloaded this set, it is incorrect. It skips the first tune (the best one in my opinion) and cuts all over the place at random. Silly me.

I have Reuploaded (well, reuploading now) a working version! (it will be complete 54 minutes after the time of this post). I suggest you grab this again if you downloaded it initially.

COSM, nice tunes. I see a lot of glitches, noises, broken basslines, etc. Could you comment a bit on your method? Do you use much glitch plugins?
