Hello..!

We are putting together a little sound project for some friends, a very nice bunch of girls n guys who are producing a multi media arts project called Dilettante.

This is their blurb:

dilettante is a non-profit making project
founded in 2005, aiming to provide an
independent arena for individual,
heart-felt creativity in a variety of media
including art, design, illustration
literature and sound.

This is for their 2nd issue, I'm looking for music contributions, full tracks, sections of tracks, sketches, sound pieces, recordings of anything at all. It's an art project so abstract/experimental is great. As far as I know there is no cash up front, maybe later I guess, but it is a not for profit project. However they have a distribution channel that will most likely get your music & therefore your name out to an audience that would otherwise be hard to reach, from London to Hong Kong, Tokyo to San Francisco... Stockists are more art based book shops & fashion outlets than record stores & the 1st issue was very well received & made quite an impact worldwide.

I am looking for contributions as of now. Like I said it doesn't have to be full tracks, it can be anything at all of any length & any style, it doesn't even have to be music. There will be a selection process that will involve more than just me so please don't be offended if your material doesn't make it on to the mix.

We will be creating a mix/collage out of all the chosen pieces for a cd to accompany issue 2.
