I'm going to sell my Carillon PC and monitor, with Reason, Cubase and Live, VSTs etc, so i can change to a laptop based setup.
I'm going to wait until after Christmas when the kids have their Christmas money I think, but would you buy a new MIDI controller and speakers and sell it as a complete "home studio" package (I want to keep my controller and speakers) or just sell what I've got?
Whoever buys it would be a beginner wouldn't they? But I can't find a MIDI controller for less than £50.
Advice on selling
Sell it as it is. People always want a discount when things are bundled together so you'll probably lose money. It also rules out anyone with a set of monitors already. I guess you could pick up a cheap 2nd hand controller but def skip the speakers.
