Am using a Macbook and a synth thats it!
Installed Live 5.2 but never unlocked it as heard you have to pay for serial number for multicore Macs. Also installed 5.2.2 and 6 upgrades, have since remove 5.2.2.
Am currently using Live 6. It doesn't happen everytime, but usually when I first load up a set and playback an arrangement, the first simpler track to start playing will cause Ableton to pause for a split second and then the set carries on playing.
At first I thought it might be linked to the fact I was trying to playback sets I'd written in 5.2 on a Pc, but to test I wrote a set with impulse and simpler tracks earlier in Live 6 on Macbook and the same thing happened when the first simpler track began to play.
Occasionally I would like to use simpler, but it's out of the question at the moment! As far as I know have installed all the compatibility packs and other packs that are available unless I've done it wrong.
Anyone got any suggestions?
