Motu traveller problems - HELP!

OK on both my synths, Xiosynth and Microkorg I seem to be having a problem within live where I do not have enough gain on whichever channel they are assigned to? Even if I stick on a utility.......

But if I look at the master it seems the gain/volume is ok there?

But if I record a loop within a certain channel and look at the waveform there's no gain at all?

Stumped....your thoughts?

It's something really obvious so I'm ready to be shredded here.......lol.
