audio import

Post by scottanthony » Sun Nov 26, 2006 7:32 pm

Anybody know why my audio file.wav that I imported from Beatport sounds choppy when it is placed into an audio track into ableton? I am trying to edit whole songs for Djing purposes... thanks!

I had this problem and it was driving me mad,

In the sample box under Warp I change 'Beats' to 'Tones' and all should be well with the world :D

Unless your Live tempo is too far from the song's tempo. I which case you should adjust Live's tempo. I also recommend reading through the manual and checking out tutorials about "warping". Without that knowledge, Live won't make much sense to your ever.
