I'm by far a hard ass but if I was making videos and and trying to market myself to the masses and awards shows I suppose I would have went nuts and at least got in his face and told him to fuck off! I mean picture it, there you are your friends, family, and most likely PARENTS are watching you onstage along with millions and your gonna let some private schoolboy who produces whack glitter hip-hop come up and ruin that for you? Of course he picked on them! I know what people like Kanye think of people like your friends group. He felt like he could just overpower them and they gave it up. I dunno.

the thing is that if my friends had replied in an unfriendly manner, ppl would have said that french people were arrogant.
plus i think it's rather easy to say how you would have behaved in this situation, but once you in front of the cameras it's a different story.

I would've, should've or could've but really it's hard to say
at first it doesn't look like Kanye's coming out to dis but then it progressively turns into a dis and at that point it's over...

As far as "French people being arrogant" part who cares. There's a lot worse things one country can be called! Everyone thinks us Americans are all like Bush or Kanye!!
I think they handled the situation perfectly and I'll always remember them, especially when they said maybe it's time Kanye stepped down and let someone else have a chance. He acted like such a dick. To go from the media's darling to being the butt of Justin Timberlake's jokes made him his bitch!
