Heres a screenshot of the piano keyboard playing chords. And a screenshot of the new Beat-Pad.

Im very close to releasing the beta version, i just can't legally release it until I buy a full version of visual studio 2005 and get my self a pocketPC to test it on. I understand some of you might be getting a little frustrated by this cus i am too :)

Both the piano keyboard and beat-pad sends velosity data depending where you tap the key/pad.

the velocity should be switchable between
fixed to a value 1-127 and "active". like
in most keyboards...

Ive introduced a record function. Now you can record control movements and play them back at a press of a button (A-H) while simultaneously moving other controls. :)

I just got an XDA Mini - I presume it will work on that (WM5)?

So how does this connect to the PC running Live - can it go through the activesync USB?

that record idea is great gaffer! Could two recorded movements be tracked to the same function? That is, could I record a movement on a filter cutoff on A and then record another movement on the cutoff on B and then switch between the two movements?

Not a bad idea, but id rather spend the time writing the app, this forum thread seems to be working ok.

That's a pretty good idea, ill think about it once i have record function fully running, im having a problem figuring out time intival in milliseconds.

I now have Record function working nicely, accuracy down to a millisecond, and works great :D

My app is almost complete, ive typed over 35,000 lines of top code, just need to find any bugs...
Should be able to release beta after Christmas. :D

Brilliant concept I like it. I see it uses TCPIP so with a wifi PDA you could operate at a distance e.g. going to bar / toilet mid gig and still interact.

:)

On the subject of PDAs I've used this in the past.

Not a midi remote but a sequencer. Good for getting song ideas out of your head whilst on the road. It exports to midi so great for throwing it into Ableton when you get home.
