Ah well good to know that It's not me being stupid in not being able to get my (designed to work with Live) FaderFox to work with six.
And all my 3rd party plugins…
strange that even a clean new program with no external or 3rd party stuff is so fond of crashing constantly (with even a white screen of death on the first day of using it on a brand new computer too!!!)

My Faderfox works well with 6. It could work better though with automap. Maybe you have other issues?

Mine works flawlessly.
I designed a template to start projects from that i just keep modifiying.
I started it in Live4, carried it over to 5 and now 6.
Dont really notice the difference - except the new features.

Well Hoffman2k's done something more general (and possibly more likely to succeed). Everyone's voted yes so far!
Edit: beaten to the punch....

It's the general thing that we need...
We can either beg for each of our controllers to be supported.
Or we can accept the fact that it just ain't going to happen anytime soon.
So the solution i suggest works for everybody.
Though it shouldn't stop there...
For an app called Live, there's way too much mousing around.
I want everything set up, so that i don't even need the screen when playing.
I don't know about you guys, but i can only make one side of my brain function at once.
Clicking is not part of the creative side of my brain.

I'm _totally_ with you there.
I'm still buzzing off the fact that with midistroke I can mostly get mouse free using my LV1.

Yes, i think im totally with you on that.
I like the idea of needing no mouse and keyboard.

Agree with you guys.
Openned a tread about some of the features I would like to see Ableton and FaderFox working together (mostly Ableton) here (
http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=42620 ) but none replied...
anyway, Ableton really needs to support more the FF users.
