LIVE 6.0.1
so when I have some clips in arrangement view... i want to edit the track volume and doubleclick where I want to listen... I see the little speaker-icon but it will not play any sound...
however if I click at the beginning of the track until I hear sound I can double click at the end of that particular to hear.. although this is no help when I have more than two tracks. It is irritating to start from the beginning and then at the start of each track I want to be heard.. just to work with something at the end. One time is okay, but if you have to do it a couple of times... you get fed up.
?
and also I have had problems when rendering..
it looks as if it is processing, but then when it is ready... there's no rendered file at all???? Strange? and sometimes it will render properly. I had an imported soundfile (mp3) and put it into SAMPLER and had it play normal and then backwards.. it works perfect within Live.. but sometimes when I am rendering it will only be played "normal" and not the normal/backwards that I want.
play + rendering

To tell you the truth, your post is quite confusing. You might have to break it down and rephrase carefully to get good help.
If your global quantization is, say, 1 bar, then you can only start clip playback at one bar intervals. Check out chapters 8 & 11 in the manual very carefully.
The doubleclicking sound fishy: you do not doubleclick to start playback at a given point in the clip, just single.
Could your problem have something to do with Launch Quantitization?hafnarbakki wrote:LIVE 6.0.1
