Ableton versatility

Post by jakt » Fri Dec 01, 2006 7:37 am

i am a new owner of an ableton setup with my new delta1010lt card. my question is this:

how versatile is ableton for recording a band/instruments.? i do plan on using Ableton for my electronic productions (i write that as well) but i'm curious if anyone here uses this magic program for recording live music...

any thoughts.?

ps- allo to mista duke. ;)

there is none.
at least, as much as rebirth.
and no one will ever think you're cool using ableton.

give up now.

check the link your music forum and the artists page on the rest of the ableton site. Live is freaky, people use it because they like the work flow and you can route and remix audio in new and fun ways.

it's totally usable as a recording and mixing environment.
I'v done it many times and it's transparent and friendly.
