waves plugins & live on pc

Hi, I've downloaded a demo from waves site of the new plugin bundle. There is a plugin shell that permits the use of the bundle with any vst host on pc. Unfortunately when I load the shell I get this message error:
a serious program error has occurred. You should save your work..blah blah..
Anyone tryed it?
If it's a bug and not mine problem, i hope they resolve it soon, waves really rocks.

I was just about to start a thread about this as well, so I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one with this problem.

I'd love to use the Waves compressors/eqs in my Live set. That'd be fantastic....

It says the shell is for use with Steinberg Cubase-VST or NUENDO hosts only.

Try using "FFX-4 DX manager". It's a Freeware DX to VST Wrapper that works as a rack for up to 4 DX Effects at a time. It seems to work just fine with Ableton and the Waves plugs on my machine.

Strange how a free piece of software can do what a $1,000.00+ piece of software is supposed to do but can't... Uh, actually it's not that strange at all!

Hi All,

Waves work fine for me under Live with a slight oopsey. It seems that Live isn't able to find the waveshell when a song is loaded. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
