live5 and macbook

I am getting really disgusted. I have a brand new macbook with 1 gig and core duo processor. If I load an impulse kit, i cannot play more than 3 sounds with out it crackin or dropping out. Same with other instruments. So basically I cant make a beat in live 5 after I spent this money on it. Can anyone help me out??//?

Hello,

You will need to upgrade your version to Live 5.2 to run the Universal version of Live 5, now you run an older version that runs through Rosetta, thus the very poor performances.
