Novation Remote LE Templates

Post by slipmip » Wed Dec 06, 2006 5:42 am

I have a Remote LE and just downloaded the Bass Station pugin. The controller has templates for Live and for the Bass station. I have the template for Live setup and that works fine. I installed Bass Station and Live sees it. Everything is running fine except I can't figure out how to run the bass station template in Live so that i can play notes and control Bass Station's perameters. Right now I can set up Bass Station as a plugin and play notes (under the Ableton template) and then switch over to the Bass Station template and make adjustments. I know I can just assign knobs under the Ableton template to modify Bass Station in live, but can it be done another way? I would imagine I'd have to assign the keys (notes) to to Ableton and the other CC's from the controller would go to Bass Station.
Please help
thanks

I just finished setting up my remote le to utilize the instant map template that is in the preferences folder of live. you can read more about this at:

or, if you would like I can send you the .txt and .syx that I have created.

Thanks DrewBix,
This looks very interesting, what's the difference between this and setting up a template with the controller? Please send me a copy of the files you mentioned I'd like to see what they look like. I'm not exactly sure how to set up the userconfiguration.txt or setting up a directory.
