Problems with ProjectMix and Ableton 6 after driver update

I have recently updated my driver for my M-audio Project Mix I/O from 1.7.2 to the new release of 1.8.1. Now the Project Mix is behaving very erradically with the sliders and the text on the display. Anybody else having these issues?

I am running a Dual 1.8 G5 with 2 gigs of ram (running 10.4.8)
