Well, i can tell you that the service from JazzMutant (Manufacturer's of the Lemur) is outstanding... Like the Xone 3d, you can't really walk into a store & play on one as a trial... but the Mutants are amongst the most helpful bunch of guys i've ever dealt with.

Come on, forget that bulky, un-costomizable desk & get yourself a new pet bro....

I had to buy my Xone 3D sight unseen.

I returned it after 2 days for a refund.

Nothing.

I went back to using my UC-33e.

just because something is made in china doesn't mean it's crap. Most of Phil Jones Bass' product line is made in a factory in China and their stuff is some of the best money can buy (build-quality and tone-wise).

that is true or at least partly true, most companies distributors are useless, i am working in the moment as a technical consultant for a shop, and most distributors are anything but helpfull in whatever way, so we have been forced to aproach many [nearly all] companies direct. that is the only way things are working, sad but true.

it seems that the distributors do not have any interest in their products.
to me a contradiction, however. they should be interested in sells, right??

i love my 3d..totally happy with. I bought it someplace with a 30 day satisfaction guarantee, which helped ease the mind.

but i still mix records, so that is the largest appeal to me.

nothing feels like a hardware mixer for mixing.

A&H has fantastic customer service. Earlier this year I bought one of their products from an online store. That unit unfortuately was broken. An A&H tech support guy actually called the online store and arranged for a new unit to be shipped to my house. Before that however he spent a good deal of time helping me troubleshoot. Later I received the replacement and soon after that the same helpful A&H guy called me and asked if everything was working properly. Oddly enough the 2nd unit I received did'nt work either. No problem, A&H called a repair shop close to my home and a week later my new toy is up and running. Sure I was frustrated but because of A&H customer serivice I never worried whether or not I would end up with a working unit. I just had to be patient is all.

A&H support is just great.
I had my 3D exchanged twice, A&H contacted the Italian distributor and made them send me a new unit within a week.
They also reply to your emails within hours/minutes.
