sample offline

Hi ,i seem to be having a small problem when i try to resample clips.After i resample the clip i am working on, i put it into my kick folder to save it and that works grand,but i start having problems when i try to drag the clip into live it just says that the sample is offline, this is really starting to get on my nerves,would be grateful for a bit of help thanks.

read the manual section on file mangement, 4 pages or so.

In short, don't move samples, let Live manage all that. If you must, do a 'collect all and save', then you'll have the kick in your kick folder and saved off in the project folder. To find missing samples, click on the 'samples are missing' bar at the bottom of the screen.

I have a similar problem in Arrange mode... When I edit a sample in ie. Recycle, then make a save-as and close Recycle... The sample is offline... The original un-touched sample that is... Then I can consolidate and undo and then the sample is online again... Strange... Anyone else wiht this problem?
