military recruiter makes me sick-let's call them back!

Post by glu » Thu Dec 14, 2006 4:15 pm

Read this please. Asshole phone call this morning...

They left a message on my phone this morning, srgt X saying there was going to be a draft, " hey man..." and to call back. So I thought it was some dumbass from my class trying to get me to go study for our final.

When I called back, the recruiter asked me if I ever thought to join the marines. I said no, he asked why, I said "because I don't believe..." and before I was able to finish the muthafunka hung up.

SO i called his ass back and said.

"listen man, you called me, woke me up by leaving a message saything there was going to be a draft, then I called you back you asked me why I am not interested in the military and then hang up on me." Then I hung up on him.

He called back and apologized

Please call and let this man know what he is doing is immoral and wrong.

512-627-6011- he will pick up

Say you have a high degree in Arabic translations.

After he pulled all the stops to get you to join, say you're gay.
Record the reply and send it to comedy central. They'll know what to do with it

I bet if I say I'm gay, or that I speak Arabic, they will put me on Home Security's BlackList. Hahah...

Not a bad idea, maybe I would get to meet Jon Stewart, the most trusted name in news..

Naw dude. In order for the US mil to remain volunteer, there needs to be recruitment. Whether it's phone calls, the Wal-Mart parking lot, comic book ads, or TV ads with conspicuously less desert camo, you can keep saying "no." Be thankful for that...
Computer music, ho!

Well, leaving a message about a draft is pretty twisted, but it's well established that they use underhanded tactics. And if they get you down to the office, they'll tell you anything to get you to sign up.
All I'm saying is that I will accept that any day of the week to stay out of compulsory service!
Peep this article http://blog.wired.com/tableofmalcontent ... my_ha.html on the Israeli IDF's response to "delusional" Dungeons & Dragons players...
I would probably end up in the psycho ward of a military prison.
