Garageband Jampack Software Instruments

Does anyone know if these can be used in Live 5 somehow?

If you could find the samples on your hd, or you could resample the output of garage band?

if you have Kontakt 2 or another soft sampler that reads EXS24 format, you could import the GarageBand instrument files - they're just EXS instruments.

Play your GarageBand Instruments (from JamPacks)

I had to search for this post to figure it out, but here's the (VERY SIMPLE (Mac OSX)) process, which requires Sampler:

1. Drag Sampler to a MIDI track

2. Use your Finder to search for .exs files

3. Drag the .exs from the Finder onto "Drop Sample Here"

You're done! Sampler rocks!

Sampler isn't part of Live 5, but thanks.
