"Live Unexpectedly Quit"

Post by Rob » Sun Apr 25, 2004 9:04 pm

I'm getting this "Live Unexpectedly Quit" message when I close down Live. It's only started happening this last week or so. I've upgraded to the latest version hoping that would fix it but it hasn't. Apart from installing the latest ipod software, I've not installed any new software recently (thinking that there may be a conflict somwhere) so I'm a bit stumped as to what has started causing the crash.

It's not really a major headache but it's a bit annoying.

Any help would be appreciated.

G4 Dual 826 (1gb ram)
OSX.2.8
Live 3.0.4
Reason 3.1.2

Ah, yes. Now that I think about it, this happens sometimes with AIM as well.

I do use SupaTrigga, but I'm pretty sure I was having this problem before I started using it. As I think more about it, I believe this problem first showed itself (with AIM) when I installed the OS X 10.3.3 update. I can't be 100% sure, though.

As it happens, I have been using the Supertrigga plugin. I think you may be onto something there. Thanks.

the lovely people at apple have informed me, that any issue i am having w/ LIVE (or REASON) in a 10.3 environment is ALL 3rd party software issue.

i am not sure if i believe them, cause everyone likes to play the blame-game.

my questions is what are you all using for audio out when the crashes occur?

frustrated in minneapolis!

darn apple

it's got to be the APPLE.
I changed the latest powebooks for 3 tims.
The 3rd one works great except for the random audio dropouts which many of the OSX users are suffering.

Trust me, it won't get fixed until you change the actual MAC. It took me half a year to find this out.
