problem with tempo/scene change.. help!

I swear I had this working before.

I have a set of songs, each sectioned as scenes with specific tempos.
When I try to increase or decrease the tempo on the master name scene, it does nothing to the tempo. What am I missing?

you mean naming the scene xbpm to make it play at x bpm?
