friefox sorted it out. sweet.

btw, just went and checked out a bunch of covert op's operator patches again. Nicely done.

Serving .adg files with Apache

Machinate,

It's no wonder Safari decides to show .adg files as text, as you're serving them as text. Your site serves them with Content-Type: text/plain.

If you add the following to your httpd.conf or a .htaccess file, things will work much better:

AddType application/octet-stream .adg

Thanks arrowhead, we already did the research. My point was that the other browsers that we've tested *don't* do this, hence the problem can be isolated to lack of compatibility from Safari.

It will be changed at one point, but we have a gazillion other things to look at right now.

also, I noticed an interesting patch name in the Surgical Tools bass folder. 8) Sounds hot!! Anyone who hasn't gotten their hands on this collection is missing out, for real. macro control = heavenly.

just out of curiousity, bjorn.. what does "you are on your own, kiddo..." reference?
