Yo Ableton! Make us register to post on this forum...please!
There have been an increasing number of SPAM posts to our beloved Ableton forum...its' starting to get a bit ridiculous.
Can you please, please, please enable the feature that makes new individuals registering for this forum have to go through the validation process where they provide an email, then must click on a link to activate before they can post anything.
It's too easy for the freaking spam-bot a$$holes who post Viagra links to flood this forum with their crap

Well that really sucks then...a spambot can create an account with a username/firstname/lastname then wait for an email from the forum, then click on the activation link that re-verifies them back with the forum?...that is pretty sophisticated sh!t that someone should be putting to better use than thinking people actually respond to the crap that those spambots put out.Spiralgroove wrote:kinda pointless when the spambots register themselves these days
