Mackie Control with Device racks

Dont know if its a bug on abletons part but i cant access the parameters of racked plugins with mackie control.
for example:
if i have a rack with a eq8 and a simple delay, i cant tweek the effects of the two parameters, only the rack parameters? it works fine with Lives automap though, i have access to the devices inside racks.

Yes,

My guess FWIW is that it's some limitation of the MC protocol, not being able to work with the nested devices (?)

thats my thought, its probably more of a Mackie issue than an ableton issue. I remember it working properly with groups in version 5 though. i guess ill hit up mackie about this.
