lush, downtempo tunes

Post by generalfuzz » Fri Dec 29, 2006 5:49 pm

Hi,

My latest release "Messy's Pace" was written entirely in Live 5. I've pretty much dumped all other sequencers in favor of live. You can check it out on my website: http://www.generalfuzz.net. I've tagged it as a lush, downtempo melodic approach to instrumental electronica.

Almost done with album #4 (also done in Live) . . . .

Thanks for listening,
GF

Listening to Massy's Pace, I like this very much. Well orchestrated and composed. I downloaded all the albums and will listen over the next couple of weeks. I just heard your interview with Hans Zimmer on his Sounds Good podcast. Nice interview and good luck in all future projects. I'll sign up for your e-list. Man, I'm really digging this album. Thanks.

Thanks dude. I really fired up cause I'm currently mastering my fourth album. I'm almost ready to unleash it. . . .

I'm checking some of your tracks - they definetly have a nice vibe and some interesting textures. The way you have your webpage setup though isn't ideal - it almost crashed my computer since its trying to buffer all your music at once. You might try to find a flash plugin like the one on archive.org so you stream one at a time.

Yeah man, good stuff, all the way around. You definitely have your own developed style, which is refreshing these days. Nice to see some more downtempo peeps around here ;)

Thanks for the suggestion for the website! sorry it almost crashed your computer. I'll make changes to it soon. I'm looking forward to your fourth release. That must be the one you talked about in the interwiew. Keep up the good work. :) I'll be listening to your albums on my flight to Disney. I have 2 girls and it should definitlely serve to relax me on the flight.
