Can't copy from one drum to another w/midi sequencer?

i see 'duplicate" but that just makes the clip twice as long. how do I copy one drum part into another row inside the clip, so as to duplicate the part with another drum sound?

select the whole line of notes, and ctrl+ drag to the new row

that's cool, but it doesn't copy itself, it MOVES the entire selection.

try the other modifiers, you know macs and pcs are always different on this type of thing!
