I'm using a normal X-Fi ExtremMusic soundcard with Live 6 and various soft synths all OK. I am connecting the synth using USB only.
I've now got a new X-Station and can use it OK as a MIDI device but am having trouble listening to the synth audio when actually playing it.
Q) Am I supposed to switch to the X-Station ASIO when I want to record the synth?
If so, when I do I can see the levels move in Live but can't hear it but it DOES record it. Then, if I switch back to another ASIO driver (ASIO4ALL etc.) I can then hear it played back.
...or should I be setting this stuff up differently?
