Shipping Problems from Ableton?

Post by geebake » Tue Jan 02, 2007 7:40 pm

Has anyone else had problems getting orders shipped from Ableton? I ordered the Essential Instruments Collection back in November and have yet to receive it. I haven't received any notification of the order beyond the immediate order confirmation. My credit card was charged immediately though I've noticed. I've sent several emails but have received no response. Am I alone here or are others having such problems. This is very disappointing. I really like Live but this sort of treatment sours me very quickly. Anyone have any idea who I can contact beyond the regular support email?

Thanks,

Greg

Hi and welcome,

I really do think you're rather alone in this - doesn't sound anything like them. But apart from http://www.ableton.com/pages/company/contact I really can't tell you what to do.

Regards,
M

I ordered EIC+L6+Sampler on 1st December, and have yet to see anything here in Melbourne, Australia.

From memory, L5 took about 2.5 weeks. I've never had to wait more then 3 weeks for ANYTHING from overseas before, so I'm getting a bit worried....

The abes just got back to me - they messed up and hadn't actually sent my order yet. Grrrrrrr!

They are going to chuck in a mousepad and a lanyard.... small consolation I guess. I already have an ableton mousepad, and I don't really use or need a lanyard.

After telling them that I already had a mousepad, they said they'll send me a beanie too!

Thanks abes!

I'm pleased to hear that you've gotten some resolution. Can I ask how you got in touch with them? I've sent email after email and gotten no response at all. If I don't hear something soon, I'm going to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Very frustrating to be paying interest on something I haven't received.

They were always quick to send out serials in the past and replying to emails, but at the moment ???

Maybe some one quit or passed away ?!?

If you have problems with your orders, contact orders@able....

Support probably has their hands full with other stuff.

You sure that emails from Ableton aren't being marked as spam or anything? I would've thought that emailing the serial was a pretty automatic process?

I would have thought so too, my email service is very rudimentary....my mail box gets about 20 spam emails a day so no, I dont have a spam blocker Lol

its wierd, because I emailed them to ask if i could pay by wire transfer, within hours I had a reply...since then nothing...Ive now sent 3 emails, they must realise Ive paid and am a registered user as Ive provided enough info and the money went through over a week ago.

I just want to upgrade so I can start making some lovely Racks !!!!
Oh, and music of course ;)

Mr Ableton if youre listening, please could you send me my upgrade.

Forever your humble paying customer,
Matt

I've finally heard back and it sounds like my order will ship. The explanation was "Our fulfillment partner accidentally mixed up orders." Hmm. Seems like maybe I should have received someone else's order in that case. I just hope this gets resolved quickly. Hard to imagine that it took so many emails before it received any attention.

I allways wonder why you people don't use the easiest and directest way and give them a call???
Well, ok. i live in germany and a call to berlin is about 2 cents the minute. But this is the same i pay for a call to us! My wife works for an airline and it happened often enough that we chat some minutes, last time at new years eve, when she had to stay in vancouver, this was 2,6 cents a minute!

So, forget the mails, forget this forum, give them a call and you will get a clear honest answer about your problem.
Oh i forgot, could be that it is to late down under when we open our stores and you had to go to bed ;-)
