skipping/clicking

recently while playing on a frickin' awesome martin rig, i noticed towards the end of an hour set that i was getting clicks. tracks would still play together fine, it was just that every five seconds or so i would get a quick click.
upon arrival back home, i played with live to figure the problem, and it did it again. upon rebooting, the system runs fine, click free.
it seems to be doing this each time at about the half hour/45 minute mark.
i have 3 shows next week. any help is appreciated.
my set up is a sony vaio with 256 ram, pentium 4 1.8
and a uc-33 controller running live only.

Hi there dan, you ever get that squared away? That was a while back! Im having problems with skipping myself. I have about 8 tracks playing at all times and when I play whole scenes together quickly it seems to skip badly, its driving me fucking nutz.
