Post by futurica » Fri Jan 05, 2007 10:08 am

hi
i just got this damn machine, and i cant seem to get it to work with tracks i made in live for longer than 5 minutes without all the pops and glitches coming in. ive read all the forums here, readjusted every latency level etc, reinstalled the updated driver, recorded tracks in with no reverb , etcto no avail.
anyhone have any tips on what im not doing right? its so frustrating.
im using a G4 powerbook and live 6.1

It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.

also, in energy saver/preferences, set processor performance to highest.

then do a google about how you turn off dashboard apps.

then repair your permissions. restart and cross your fingers.

One day I got the Multimix and it worked fine but...(the only bad part) it had a very annoying "hiss" sound on every track. It (the dirty sound) was more noticeable in the silent parts of the music, this is frustrating when you are recording... they weren't the drivers, ground loop, the mic,the aliens, the FBI,etc,nope... 8O so...three days later I returned the unit to the store and got the Firewire 410 (M-audio) and it works great, very clean sound.
