when I am looping my guitar..........
I have two tracks record enabled and this makes the guitar very loud and then when I record a guitar loop into one of the tracks and attempt to play over it I have a huge decrease in volume.
I am sure this is covered many times in the forum but after hours of searching I cant find the answer. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I thought it was as simple as having monitoring set to "in" on the track I am recording to but this seems to not have an effect at all.
Thanks

Thanks for your reply
the problem really is when I want to do this looping live.
there has to be a way to have the track that I am bussing to be silent untill I trigger the playback on that track.
Any leads to former posts?

if I understand what you're doing....what about this...
4 tracks:
- 1,2 and 3 are armed to record
- 4 is your guitar input
trks 1, 2 and 3:
- input is from trk4
- turn monitoring off
trk 4:
- turn monitoring on
is that what you were looking for? sorry if it's not
